Protective Effects of Gallic Acid and Curcumin on Serum Levels of Hepatic Transaminases, Blood Plasma Parameters and Pituitary-testicular Hormones in Rats Treated Nickel Nanoparticles

<p>Nickel nanoparticles (NiNPs) have toxic effects on body cells due to the production of free radicals. The purpose this research was investigate protective Gallic acid (GA) and Curcumin (Cur) hepatic transaminases, blood plasma parameters pituitary-testicular hormones levels in NiNPs-treated rats. Seventy adult male Wistar rats were divided 7 groups 10 including control, Ni50 mg/kg, Ni50+GA150 Ni50+GA300 Ni50+Cur150 Ni50+Cur300 mg/kg Ni50+GA300+CUR300 mg/kg. NiNPs, GA Cur administered orally by oral gavage for 28 days. At last phase study, samples taken directly from heart serum transaminases (alanine aminotransferase (ALT) aspartate (AST)), (Glucose, total protein (TP), bilirubin (Bil), albumin (Alb), creatinine (Cr), Blood urea nitrogen (BUN), triglyceride, cholesterol, HDL, LDL alkaline phosphatase (ALP)) (FSH, LH, testosterone dihydrotestosterone) assessed. NiNPs administration increased glucose, ALT, ALP, AST, Bil, BUN, Cr, cholesterol compared control group (p<0.05) contrast, it decreased FSH, testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, Alb, TP HDL (p<0.05). However, co-administration at doses 300 ml/kg -treated improved all (p>0.05). findings study suggest that a dose can reduce improve damaging parameters, rats.</p>
